Stawi Biz
One system for your till, stock, debts and books.
Stawi Biz is a business system for Tanzania. One sale at the till updates your stock, adjusts the customer’s balance if they bought on credit, sends the receipt to their WhatsApp, writes the accounting entry and updates your evening report. It runs on a phone, a computer or a browser, with support in Kiswahili.
Most shops don’t lose money because they aren’t selling. They lose it in the gaps: stock that walks, a sale cancelled after the customer paid, a debt nobody chased, and mobile money that never matched the till.
Every sale can send the customer a receipt on WhatsApp.
Sales, profit and items to reorder update with every sale, so you know the day’s result before you get home.
Stock drops with every sale and warns you when it runs low. Credit sales update the customer’s balance, and SMS reminders go out for overdue debts.
The installed desktop till keeps selling when the internet is down. Phone sales queue up and sync later.
Cancellations and refunds need a manager’s approval, and every stock change carries the name of the person who made it.
M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa and Airtel Money payments are matched against sales, and anything that doesn’t match is listed for the shift.
Every sale posts to proper accounts. You get profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and a tax summary, and a month can be closed so it stops changing.
Restaurant tables and kitchen orders, pharmacy batches and expiry dates, salon bookings from a WhatsApp link, hotel rooms and guest bills.
